Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

...this thing is kicking my a&&. My passenger side vanity mirror is busted - the little lid just flops. BTW: what's the first thing the wife checks when she does the inaugural sit in the passenger seat - the vanity mirror of course. Gotta' fix that - Sunset to rescue. Fast forward to now: Looking at the back of the new mirror assembly I can see 4 little tabs - two on top and two on the bottom edge of the base assembly. The vanity mirror assembly seems to fit very tight into the visor I'm afraid of damaging the visor if I try to pry it out with a flat blade screwdriver. Is there a special tool to prise these tabs???

POST 2Original post

Thanks!!! Worked perfect. Pryed off the broken one - disconnected the battery - soldered the two wires - reconnected battery - perfect. Only now my passenger window will not 'one touch up or down' LOL!!!

POST 4Original post

Since I posted the link I decided to do mine also which work ok, but the passenger side window does the same thing as yours. Maybe just a coincidence let me know if you find out how to reset the window.
