Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

23 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey all, it's been awhile but I've been recovering from a major accident. A uninsured 19 year old kid in a GMC Yukon ran a red light at 50+ hitting me on the drivers side front fender and pushing me into a pole on the passenger side. I fractured my lower back and my neck, and was bruised to the hilt. So, not to drag out a poor me (not what I'm looking for) I just wanted to let you guys know first that I have some things left over that maybe of interest to someone. Thanx =) The car was a 2000 Rear seats-grey-$200 I have the whole spare tire with the tools in the bag-$100 Floor Mats-$50 Brake fluid and Oil, there's 9 1/2 quarts and filter with new plug -$50 SOLD Sun Shade-$25

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hmmmm, my membership ran out! Sorry for the sell add then =( Here's pics of the car b4 and after

POST 5Original post

So sad; that was a beautiful car. Glad you're okay though.

POST 6Original post

Do you have any more pictures of the after? What kind of car are you getting btw?

POST 7Original post

CRAP! bad day, and sorry that you got hurt!! - I know how long it can take to recover and I wish you well on the road!! Sorry about the car too - that sucks I think RL moderators should allow the sale since it comes from such a bad means - rules are rules, but this is a bit of a special case IMO - I might be interested in the spare and tool kit - Ed

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for your wishes, and thought guys! I really appreciate it. It's been a long 4 months. Yeah I was a member, but since I haven't been on in awhile I guess it ran out. I do have a new temporary car, a lexus sc430....it's red =/

POST 10Original post

That's a hard hit buddy, glad you're on the mend.

POST 11Original post

Must suck having to drive that after having a car like the one you had. Get well soon.

POST 12Original post

Wow, really sorry to hear about this... ...if Brake fluid and Oil, there's 9 1/2 quarts and filter with new plug -$50 is still available I'd take it...

POST 14Original post

Sorry to hear. I hope you make a speedy recovery. Not a bad temp car...

POST 15Original post

OMG, glad you are recovering, and hope it is a full one.

POST 16Original post

Glad to hear you're on the mend. I had a similar situation a few years ago and my road to recovery has been long and slow. Hope you are back to 100% and don't suffer any long term effects.

POST 17Original post

You are very lucky to be alive, but it sounds like you also suffered significant spinal injuries - please make sure you're seeing the best neurosurgeon you can find as nerve damage can be life-altering (ask me how I know). The P-car may have been sacrificed, but it surely did its job in protecting you from another out-of-control SUV. Best of luck w/ your recovery.

POST 18Original post

Glad to hear you are OK... Id be totally pissed getting hit from a non insured 19 year old....

POST 19 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey guys, I decided to also sell the keys and a couple of keychains. I was gonna hold on to them, but I guess I'm over it, haha. $100. Thanks for your interest, and I've responded to a few PMs as well.

POST 20Original post

Welcome back! I would look at seeing if you can get the rear wheels and the wing. Those are worth something. Engine as well but it would all go to a dismantler I guess..

POST 21Original post

I know someone will slam me but this is why I hate big truck/SUV with idiot drivers. justinbig87, hope you get well soon.

POST 22Original post

take care friend I hope their insurance is paying you out big-time

POST 23Original post

Justin, I'll take the keys, to help out with your recovery fund. Aaron
