Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that suspect a cause

Hi I am also looking for this bracket as part number which is most likely a casting number does not appear on any diagrams.I have also spoken with Porsche who cannot locate the part.
Leading evidence: 'casting number does not appear' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'casting number does not appear' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I cannot seem to find this part listed anywhere. The one that attaches to the same 2 bolts that the power steering hose bracket attaches to. I am also looking forward the sleeve that goes around the compressor. Any guidance would be helpful.
thanks in advance,
Matt
I think this is the most obtuse post ever posted. I have absolutely no idea what you are asking for and about what part. A picture would help. Here is the AC compressor

So it looks like u have the wrong bolts holding in the ps hose bracket. U can kinda see what u need in the pic if the motor at the end of Yaz motor rebuild thread. If someine has the airbox out they can take a pic and then u may have to send it to a porsche dismantler to find it. I dont see it in the pet drawings.
Is that last picture from your engine? In the first picture the aluminum spacer that goes over the "hard to get to" bolt hole is missing. Looks like that opening is busted? The second picture shows the aluminum spacer in place. Other than that spacer, there isn't a bracket. Your compressor bolts directly onto those three mounting points (at least in the second gen 996 but I believe it's the same for first gen).
I take that back. I think in your first picture you are missing the bracket that has two bolts going into the side of the engine (the compressor bolt hole is on top of that) for the right bolt (one of the easy ones to get to). I assumed the last picture was from yours and it must not be. I will try and see if I can find a part number printed on mine.
That part on ine which is second gen is 996.126.101.6r if I'm reading it correctly. It is the black bracket in the picture below. This picture is taken from the back side of the bracket. I can't find that part listed but if you search for that part on sites like autoatlanta, it pulls up the AC compressor diagram.
Also, there is a bracket that holds a rubber grommet for the power steering line that bolts on top of that black bracket (mounts by the two bolts mounting the black bracket to the engine). That part is 996.347.747.0? The last number is covered up by my rubber grommet so I don't know what that is but I know this part is listed differently depending on your model year.
