Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm in a three day advanced shooting class this week and I drove my 911. A guy in the class said he loved my car and asked how long I had it. Told him a few months, he said he wanted to buy it. I thought he was joking, so I told him 36,000 and it was his. He replied, "OK" Uh, um, I'm not selling my car but, what the heck. I'll see him tomorrow and see how serious he was. This isn't a for sale thread, I had no plans on getting rid of my car. I think maybe I should jump on 36k though. Paid 34K end of April, replaced two rear tires and a put in a new battery. My car is an '02 Targa with 33k miles, 6-speed, lowered on 19's with cold air kit and two exhaust set ups, Fabspped or by-pass pipes. The car is pretty much flawless, no wear on the seats or anything like that. Thoughts?

POST 3Original post

Targas are rarer, and that goes both ways: you might have a hard time finding buyers, but if you find a buyer they will want it more than the usual "whatever 996 works" crowd. So if you are even considering selling you might want to just do it, because who knows when the next ready and willing buyer will be?

POST 5Original post

Sell and get the 997, I miss my 997, still have my 996.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I paid 34,000.00 I told him I paid 36,000, but not to deceive him, I just erred. Also, put 4900.00 down

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
