If you need to replace the wheel and want to go without wood I have a 4 spoke in Savanah Beige that is in perfect condition, also an airbag but it is not as clean.

Can anyone flick me some advice on repairing the wood trim on my wheel? Here is a little of what I know: No Tip--Manual 6 speed Saw a biege and wood wheel with no airbag go for $100 on ebay. Would that have worked for me? That is, can they pull my wheel and use the airbag in it? I want to keep the wood as it matches the shifter and e-brake and they look fine Cracks are through the clear coat and the wood. I am not a DIY'er (at least I admit it) so don't know what kind of cost I would have if a mechanic pulled and reinstalled the wheel. Any advice and guesses on costs associated with each task and part would be greatly appreciated.

The airbag is spearate from the wheel, so yes you can buy a wheel and reuse your aribag. With wood on the wheel it must be a 3 spoke, there is a difference between the 3 and 4 spoke airbags.

I did not think they made a 4 spoke with wood. something new to me. If you need to replace the wheel and want to go without wood I have a 4 spoke in Savanah Beige that is in perfect condition, also an airbag but it is not as clean. I bought the wheel to replace mine that had some wear, and then upgrade to a 3 spoke a couple of months later. The 4 spoke and aribag have been sitting in a box for a couple of years now.

I bid on one on ebay today with a bag and was high bidder at $51 but did not meet the reserve so am looking. I do not need the bag--just the wheel. I am at [email removed] . Thanks!
