Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Guy's I recently had the pleasure of seeing a great Phillies game, walked out only to see both my mirrors smashed and hanging by the wires. Awesome right.
Anyway a good and experienced body shop repaired them so all is well..except they dont work correctly. It's a 2002 911 cab, tip with 30K miles.
When you move the switch to the right and work the adjuster the left mirror moves --plus i dont seem to have the range of motion on the adjustments. (the opposite side has same issue) The car has power seats with memory only on drivers side.
The porsche dealer supplied all the parts--new housings, motors, etc. They claim the motors are not specific left or right. The mirrors only plug in one way.
I keep thinking we have the wrong motors but they are matched up with the vin etc...
Anyone out there run into this or can recomend someone to call would be appreciated.
thanks!
very simple....
return the car to the shop that installed them and say "fix it"
BTW - welcome, sorry about the sad story, it must have felt like crap, post some pics and results of your findings
Thanks..the guy is a long time friend of mine..they do excellent work but not many P cars. They are working through their contacts to come up with a fix...and i'm doing the same. At least i have mirrors, can see out of them and drive the car right now while we figure this out. It's just so strange....this should be plug and play.
Thanks for the welcome..this is my second p car was on the site often a few years ago..just getting back
The really sucks! Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I had a similar bad exp years ago with my 993. Came out from a bar and found both of my mirrors turned around (but not broken) Wipers up and a beer can on the roof. Real nice.
