I, too, have heard about being able to do a jumper on the wing harness but when I had my last car (2002 C2) and I sintalled a fixed wing, I changed the decklid harness to the one that is used with a fixed wing decklid.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I installed a driver GT-3 seat and now the airbag failure light came on as well as the computer notified me at start up. Could this be a sensor in the original seats? Any Ideas? Same with the GT-3 spoiler light. How can I bypass this? I am two hours from a dealer and I am trying to avoid the drive. Thanks in advance. ERIC

POST 2Original post

There is a plug from the seatbelt receptacle that needs to be plugged into the wire harness under the seat. It also has to be oriented properly within the harness recepticle. The airbag light has to be reset using a PS2 device. There is a jumper that you change on the spoiler wire harness to make the spoiler light go off. Try a search or somebody else may be able to help you with that one.

Run a search at Renntech.org, tons of this type of stuff there. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index...+spoiler+light

POST 4Original post

I, too, have heard about being able to do a jumper on the wing harness but when I had my last car (2002 C2) and I sintalled a fixed wing, I changed the decklid harness to the one that is used with a fixed wing decklid. I never did notice which pins were bypassed/jumped but the harness was not expensive and clipped right in cleanly.

POST 5Original post

I think that if you have the light come on you are out of luck. When putting my seat in I was careful to not to disconect anything. I ran the seat belt attached throughout the entire process. This was from advice on this site.
