My door sills say GT3 and I have an Aero package but I am wondering if the sills are slap on or does it include other items, ie handling etc? tia.

There was a GT3; however, it wasn't imported to the US. I believe it used the same aero kit as was offered on our standard 996s here. I don't think the GT3 had a sunroof...

Are you looking for an Aero kit? Suspension? Aesthetics? Your post really doesn't clarify exaxtly what you are looking for. By the way, why do your sills say GT3 on your Carerra?

The GT3 Mk1 was not imported to the US. You have the aero kit without the GT3 Mk1 goodies.

i just bought a 2000 c2 with aero kit and the sills say gt3. i was just wondering if that was a "package" or did the previous owner "i bought from a dealer who bought car at auction" just slap on gt3. fyi it has speedline wheels (i think they are called that, looks like bbs with 2 or 3 piece design) and sits a little lower than the other 2000 c2 with aero kit only i almost bought. the previous owner did put on a remus exhaust so it seems he like to mod a little so i am guessing (or you told me) it was just slapped on. thanks

it is easy to change out the sills to say GT3. if your car is a USA car its not a GT3 if it has a sunroof its not a GT3 if it has backseats its not a GT3 aerokit is beautiful, but its not a GT3 since none of the MK1 GT3s were improted to the USA
