Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I'm looking at getting my first Porsche and have since set my sights on the 996.
Leading evidence: 'Set sights' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Set sights' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey Everyone,
I'm new here so I'll try not to be annoying. I'm looking at getting my first Porsche and have since set my sights on the 996. My first concern is where to get a good PPI in South Florida. I haven't found a car yet but I'm looking.
Any RL's here that have experience in the area? To be more specific I'm around Pompano Beach.
Thanks for the advice.
Matt
Ya Champion is right around the corner but I have a feeling they are going to be the most expensive too. I need to just give them a call and found out.
Thanks for the welcome.
PPI cost should be around $300 or so as a barometer. They should not be exceedingly expensive but will get more pricey if you do leakdown as well (which is never a bad idea).
Foreign Affairs is located in Pompano and is a great choice - they did my PPI. If you do a search for the name, I believe you'll find other positive comments about them. Contact Bob Varela there (don't have his number handy).
hey welcome to the club....in your area also try orbit racing and speak with Roger Hawley. there site is

Had my PPI done at Champion a year ago, it was $165. They did find a few minor things that I was able to negotiate with, but I really did not get the feeling that they really did a thorough job (or really cared for that matter). I was having the car checked before I saw it in person, and really asked them several questions, particularly about general condition of certain items, but they were vague. They indicated that my visor lights were out, but failed to tell me that the entire visor covers were broken off ($120 in parts).

Try Pedro at Technolab.. they have a good reputation for a very good PPI on these cars .
The above link takes you to the site.
Thanks Guys,
I'm going to look at these two this weekend and anything else I find on as I troll the strip.
Any opinions?
