This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I purchased my 1st Pcar from prshguy a few months back. 2002 Carrera. Current suspension is us030. Looking to convert to as intended, ROW030. Looking for a good shop to take it to. Any recommendations in the Bay Area. Thx in advance...

POST 2Original post

Spring change is straight forward and not difficult to do. The hard part is getting the alignment right afterwards. Best place is probably Custom Alignment in Mountain View. However they are pricey. Look for a recommended independent that has an alignment rack and have them do it. A great place to look is on the website of the Golden Gate PCA website for recommended indys. Good luck and welcome to the club. What part of the bayarea are you in? I'm in Campbell.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Currently living on a 46' Aft Cabin Motoryacht at the Benicia Marina. my wife and I thought it sounded like a fun thing to do for a couple of years. That was 7 years ago. Anyway, looking to move up to our house in Anacortes WA in the not too distant future. In the mean time, I have a garage for the Pcar to sit in on Mare Island but can't do any maintenacne at current location. I figure I will need to have someone do the work including alignment and corner balance.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Andy, Who did your 3M Clear Armour?? Have you been happy with it. How much should I expect to pay ??? Bill

POST 5Original post

The car came with the clear armor on it (second hand) I'm not sure where it was done or the cost. You will not be able to corner balance the car, you can only do that with coilover adjustable suspensions. I don't know any shops in the east bay, sorry.

POST 6Original post

You can try Kahler's in Dublin. They did my PPI and first maintenance.
