I start by washing the car and use PS21 polish before the sealant.

I just got a set of I Forged Rev 19" rims and wanted to share the Picture with you guys. They are 8.5 and 10.5 width and have 235/35 and 315/25 Continental Sport 2.
Rex they don't ride any worse than the 18". That may also be because most of the streets in my neighborhood are smooth. I'll update you guys on the ride at a latter date.

I just switched back to 18's because the 19's were way to rough and noisy at high speeds...I bought it with the 19's on it. I have another friend who regrets the 19's as well due to noise and ride quality...My car is lowered w/ H& R springs
My 2000 996 feels lighter on its feet as I saved 30lbs of unsprung weight. I went to the carrera 5 spoke lightweights with michelin pilot sports...
I do agree that the 19's look a hell of a lot better but I went for the better performance for autocross and mountain driving.

I got the wheels from a friend of mine who owns a tire store. He got me a deal. The car dose have a ROWM030 kit, but it only lowered the car about 1/2inch. The rims are polished not chrome and the weight of the rear was 25lbs. Actually the new rim and tire might weigh about 3 lbs more than the OE twist wheels. So I think that the difference in negliable.
Very sweet - How deep are the rear lips ? Mine are 4" - I love the way they look, they make the 996 more aggresive looking. The Wheels are really beautiful amigo - enjoy...
Man, I think those look terrible... can I buy them from you??
(I was thinking of getting those same rims, and haven't seen them polished yet, that's exactly what I want!)
