Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

They said they were going to use the turn signal lights as my indicators.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Ever since childhood I wanted a 911, and yesterday I finally got one. As is customary, here are some pictures:

I've been a lurker, reading up on all the good advice in the forum, so thanks to you all for the info.
The car has the following options:
288 342 425 586
601 680 692 939 982
411 432 437 438 446
(p.s. the fluid on the floor was from the windshield washer, I had a disconnected hose that I just fixed before taking the photos).
Congrats, I too just purchased my first porsche. I've been on cloud nine ever since, get ready to just go out to the garage every once in awhile just to check on her!!!!
Reminds me of the night I drove my first 911 home from the dealership. What a feeling. First congratulations. And great job on posting the pics. Take my advice however, give yourself a little more room in the garage. Move some of those bikes out of the way. Just looking out for you. But great car. Enjoy and drive her safely.

Congratulations--my dream car too! Now, about that garage--as soon as I drove my car home my wife started a garage beautification project. (Actually a fun project ) Garage must be Porsche-worthy!
Have fun!
Thanks for the comments. The car cost $42,400 and has 66K miles and is a 6sp. It had a PPI with no significant issues (the windshield washer leak was the worst, so very minor stuff).
One surprise was that the car has a K40-2000 installation in it. I bought the car remotely, so yesterday was the first time that I really was able to check everything in detail.
I know the garage is crowded, but we just moved into the house about 1 month ago, so I thought I was doing pretty good to have it that empty.
Congrats Mike!
I too have recently fullfilled a lifelong dream, bought my C2 Cab in Nov. I creep in the garage all the time to give her a little love.
I would love to hear your feed back on the new K40 2000. I am looking for a radar/laser detector and a guy at Al & Eds said he could do a stealth install of the K40 2000 (which I believe is front and rear) for about $2k. Seems steep but I like the fact that it will be hidden. They said they were going to use the turn signal lights as my indicators.
The K40-2000 seems ok, but I can't say that I have much experience with other radar detectors to compare it against (it was a total surprise that it had the detector - I wasn't looking for one, and haven't used for for years). I did a quick search on google for it, and there are mixed reviews of it's performance compared to some other leading radar detectors. The most common complaint is that (some say) it falses too much.
As far as stealth goes, it is great. The dealer didn't see it, the PPI inspection didn't see it, and I only saw it when I was washing the car. I still don't know where the rear detector is, but I can see that it works when I drive past a radar source. Flashes from the front led and then from the rear led.
The one in my car was installed where two tiny holes were drilled into the instrument panel above the ***** for the clock, etc. Red led's shine through those holes. A city/highway bi-colored light was installed in the CD holder insert, and the control **** was installed on the side of center divider close to my right knee.
Wow! That is a great first Porsche...
My first was a 924, followed by a 928S. Then I bought a 91 Carrera and I was hooked for life. Six Porsches later I now have a 996 C4S. I learned a lot about Porsches, but starting with such a great car MUST feel nice!
