Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

If you also had a P1128 then I would also suggest cleaning the MAF but your fault is only on one side of the engine (and the MAF affects both).

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So received the very first CEL, the reader pulled up a P1130, something related to the Oxygen Sensor. Whats the steps to troubleshoot and get this resolved. I'm looking at cleaning uo the MAF tomorrow and cleaning up the air box area.

POST 2Original post

Mine popped the same code a month ago, I cleaned the MAF and the throttle butterfly, reset the code.

POST 3Original post

P1130 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation Area 2 (Cylinders 4 - 6) - Rich Threshold This means your car is running too lean (on cyl 4-6) and the DME can not make the mixture rich enough. Probably causes are: - Intake air system leaking. - Fuel pressure too low. - Volume supply of fuel pump too low. - Fuel injectors fouled 9 times out of 10 it is the first item - intake air leak. This could be a loose or cracked hose, bad seal on the oil filler cap, cracked oil filler hose, AOS bellows or even a bad AOS. If you also had a P1128 then I would also suggest cleaning the MAF but your fault is only on one side of the engine (and the MAF affects both).

Thanks Loren. So I cleaned the MAF, Throttle Body and removed the Sports Filter and cleaned out everything. Even checked the Oil Filler Cap. Everything seems fine now and the car is idling just as it should.
