Nothing was clearly apparent, they replaced the filter, cleaned the housing of the adaptor and tightened the braided line from the adaptor to the bearing.

The shop that installed the solution for me painted all connections including bolts, filter adapter, IMS oil feed line etc.

At that regular of a leak rate, you could clean throughly then put rings of tape around filter base / adapter / filter and see where the oil is crossing from.

When I picked it up last time he told me about tightening the braided line and said if that didn't solve it he would replace the adaptor assembly which I would prefer to avoid.

The mechanic tried to remove the existing adaptor to replace the O=rings, it was on too tight and he was afraid to break it and he has the proper tool (perhaps the original installer used Loctite or similar), given his comments I doubt the adaptor is moving.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Well over 10 years ago I had the LN Engineering IMS Solution installed which includes the spin on oil filter adaptor.
All went well until I changed the oil 2 years ago in the fall before putting it away for the winter as usual. In the spring I noticed a small amount of oil on the garage floor, I looked under the car and could see a drop of oil clinging to the oil filter case about to drip. So I tightened the filter slightly thinking this was the issue, as it turns out this was not it. I tolerated the drip (about 1 per day) for the season thinking I'd take I closer look during my next oil change. When I changed the oil at the end of the season I noticed a tear on the rubber gasket at the base of the filter and thought that was cause, and completed the oil and filter change. When completed a day or 2 later I noticed the drip again.
2 weeks ago I had my car in to a reputable Porsche mechanic for some other work and had them look for the source of the drip while up on the hoist. Nothing was clearly apparent, they replaced the filter, cleaned the housing of the adaptor and tightened the braided line from the adaptor to the bearing. All was dry while on the hoist for 24hrs after a test drive. Now I see oil on my garage floor once again at a rate of about 1 drop per 24hrs. The car sat in the garage over those 2 weeks while I was on vacation after which I noticed the drip, it was OK for the first few days before I went away.
Any ideas before I return to the mechanic? When I picked it up last time he told me about tightening the braided line and said if that didn't solve it he would replace the adaptor assembly which I would prefer to avoid.
Any ideas before I return to the mechanic? I don't have a hoist so looking from under the car is not an option at home but might help the mechanic if this is a known problem.
How does the filter adapter attach, maybe its loose and leaking further up?
At that regular of a leak rate, you could clean throughly then put rings of tape around filter base / adapter / filter and see where the oil is crossing from. Might be from the bearing oil feed line.
Atleast at a drop a day you only lose a liter every 3 years!
The spin on oil filter adapter has an o-ring. Remove filter, undo the line to the IMSB, then un-screw the spin on adapter and check the o-ring. Might be able to get a new o-ring from LN Engineering.
I just went through this same issue. I found that the fitting from the adapter to the Solution oil feed line had loosened up and started leaking. I disconnect the line, removed the spin on adapter and removed the fitting. Cleaned it to remove old sealant and oil then resealed with Loctite. (I cannot recall the exact Loctite I used but it came with the solution. )No more leak.
Put some Tracing Dye in the oil and use a UV Light to look for the leak....
That is the "PRO" way to do it...
The Tracer Dye will turn Green under the UV light a show right where the leak begins..
That's what is used on the " hard-to-find" leaks
The shop that installed the solution for me painted all connections including bolts, filter adapter, IMS oil feed line etc. This made it easy to realize when I was removing the oil filter, that the IMS oil feed adapter plate had moved and gotten loose in removing the standard metal filter. I would suggest that it may be as simple as tightening the oil filter and see if the adapter is moving.
The mechanic tried to remove the existing adaptor to replace the O=rings, it was on too tight and he was afraid to break it and he has the proper tool (perhaps the original installer used Loctite or similar), given his comments I doubt the adaptor is moving. I considered tightening the adaptor when I did my last oil change but didn't have the LN Engineering tool (it is not simply a 26mm socket).
Check that a gasket from a previous oil filter isn't stuck to the spin-on adapter. That happened to me. I'm referring to the oil filter gasket, not where the adapter meets the oil pan.
