Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Here is a link to Motor Trends recent road test of the 997 GT2. This car is beyond words, although their quote "one of the greatest sports cars the world has ever seen" comes close. Porsche......There is no substitute!!!!!!!!!! http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...est/index.html

Great article, incredible car, no doubts But for the 200K range, a F-430 would be my first choice. Neither would be used as daily drivers. Since I am dropping 200K for a toy, higher maintenance costs would not be a factor. The ultimate performer is the GT2, the ultimate sex on wheels is the F-car. Nice dream, either or

POST 3Original post

Yes an amazing car !!! The market I see for this car is someone that already has a GT2 (older version), and will trade it in for an upgrade. I don't think too many people will be purchasing a 997 GT2 (2008) as there first Porsche.

POST 4Original post

side shots look like the car has a bit of forward rake in its alignment.

POST 5Original post

The borrowed the LED's from my Audi S6. I want one!!!!

POST 6Original post

I love the " variable-vane turbos to hypercharge the incoming exhaust gases "... FAIL!

POST 7Original post

Amazing car, stellar numbers compared to everything else. It does have pronouned rake, like H&R's or something, looks hot. Everything you need (massive hp & tq) and nothing you don't (awd). Nissan must already be on the waiting list....
