Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

When I phoned them months ago, to ask about how track-worthy the SC systems were and how much torture testing was done, I was told there hadn't been any significant long-term high-stress/temp testing yet, so I dropped the upgrade idea altogether not wanting to be a beta tester of sorts.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone have any prob's with EVOMS upgrades? I know there are prob's that can happen when pushing the performance envelope of sportscars and that's the nature of things, but I just wanna hear if anyone has been disappointed in any way with their upgrades. I've seen plenty of marketing info and mag articles, but real-world long-term results are what I'm looking for. When I phoned them months ago, to ask about how track-worthy the SC systems were and how much torture testing was done, I was told there hadn't been any significant long-term high-stress/temp testing yet, so I dropped the upgrade idea altogether not wanting to be a beta tester of sorts. I'm interested in both the SC upgrades and the turbo conversions and upgrades for both 993 and 996. I have a 993 currently, but will also get a 996 and upgrade it in the future, so I want to look before I leap. Thanks for any input and guidance. And, by all means, be discreet and PM me if you have something that's not fair to post here. No need to discredit anyone, just share experiences fairly please. Thanks!

POST 2Original post

I have the Supercharger and so far no issues. One track day down and one coming up.

POST 3Original post

Getting the SC is on my big wish list! I'm going to be building a home over the next larger part of a year and when I'm done I'm selling my backhoe. There's the $$ for it! At least that is how I'm justifying it to my wife...

POST 9Original post

Just got in contact with Todd and their SC'ed car is going into CARB Testing later this month. They are hoping to get CARB Certified by years end and that will cover all SC's sold to date. Hammer: WHAT'S WITH THE CAPS MAN???

POST 10Original post
