Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

My last event was the Maguires talk at Clean Mart.

Change 6 plugs not 12, don't have 2 distributors with the attending belt, 1 oil filter not 2, etc....

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Roof rack systems? Gas gauges? windshield wiper issues? Sound of the horn? Come on now...I thought I was on the VW Jetta board for a minute....whats next..."where do I get biggie size cup holders"
Im new here but I notice that we dont have alot or any DIY on this board???
Does everyone here take their car to the dealership/shop for minor to major fixes??
wheres all the DIY on this board???
NO FLAMING INTENDED..
Guys talk about lots of stuff over a period of time. Use search! You can find almost anything. If you can't......start a thread!
There is also space for "wisenheimer" comments and opinion on everything from "soup to nuts"!
This site is the BEST!!!
The 993 gang are more interested in making their cars as fast as the "inferior" 996. Perhaps, as soon as there are more 997's out there we'll all be trying to figure out how to coax an extra 35 hp out of our cars. Plus, the diy's are much simpler on the 996. Change 6 plugs not 12, don't have 2 distributors with the attending belt, 1 oil filter not 2, etc....

I'm not so sure about that. I think a lot of people in this group also subscribe to RennTech.org for the DIY stuff. Loren on RennTech is da man for DIY. You should check it out.
jetskied, and the numbers you have to support this are???? True there are some mods that are best left to the professionals, but there are a num bers of DIY items and mods that are the rule rather than the exception.
Have to agree with programmatore on this one. Totally support the renntech site and see a good number of the rennlist people over there as well.
My question I guess 99 996 is what is your point? If you don't like the posts, don't read them or don't respond. If someone has a question, regardless how minoe you view it, it's important to them.
Are you a LVRPCA member? There are some great events coming up. Had a picnic at the Willows Park in Summerlin this past Sat that was a blast and some track and social events in the weeks/months to come.
Yes, been a member for some time. Been out of town for awhile. My last event was the Maguires talk at Clean Mart. I'll try to make the suspension meeting/class.
I missed that one. I went to the brake's session at Carl's (a few weeks back) and the picnic this past Sat. I will for sure go to the suspension one. There was a beautiful 1954 356 Speedster (original) at the picnic..go figure that it won best in show. Nobody else had a chance. Especially not me since my car was in the stall right next to it.
Here is the 356:
