Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I use my 996 more because it is quieter and better riding than my 993.
Leading evidence: 'Use 996 more' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'audi a6 quattro or maybe a boxster' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Use 996 more' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I replied Mostly likely the Infiniti G35 Coupe, dollar for dollar, I think its the best coupe out there - So I ask you guys the same - your limit is 32K - what would you choose.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Amigos heres an interesting question my 10 year old asked my this past weekend Daddy if you couldnt afford your PORSCHE,
what car would you get

prob the STi since I can get it for about 7K off sticker (grad school buddy works for Subaru North America). But I will agree with userID 1999Pporsche911. I would save, invest then buy the porsche in a few years.
Don't laugh, but we just picked up my wife's new Mini Cooper S MC-40 limited edition with the JCW performance upgrade yesterday. I washed it this morning to get the salt off of it from the boat ride over (RejeX planned for this weekend). This thing has over 200 h.p. and is a total blast! It handles like a go-kart, handles corners better than most vehicles on the road, and goes like hell! I'm going to put a few mods on it to squeeze a few more horses out of it, but I'm telling you, the thing is a total blast to drive!
1977-79 930 turbo for old. I wouldn't mind a 964 RS America too but it's past 32K I think. P-car all the way!!! Regards. Mike PS.-For a new car G35 is very nice but gotta go for the EVO 8-performance outweighs the look. Regards. Mike
BMW M3 (E36)
I have one now and its definately worth the 12k you can get them for now. With 32k to throw into mods, it would eat up GT3's all day long. and anything else really. Best handling car i've ever driven. Period.
Choices not necessarily in order of preference
1 928 GT or S4 as late model as possible 5SPEED
2 968 Coupe
3 Older 911 or possibly 99 996 with high miles, no RMS
All Porsche no compromise in handling or driving experience.
I cannot remember the time when I was sans Porsche, but then again, why should I?
If you can forget it looks like a Golf, the R32 is the best driving.
Since you have to look at it, the 350 Z (drives better tthan bigger brother Infiniti)
If you need the room and drive in snow, the WRX STI goes to the top (with snow tires)
If you are blind and live next to a track, the EVO
Since affording it is the issue, the maintenance of a 964 must be considered. It's easy to run up a 4000 bill at the dealer, so you are better off with a new car.
If every day you want to wonder where the power is, there is no substitute for an RX8. The power is nowhere till you see 7000rpm.
But the true answer is... a used Corvette. Have you seen the ads for used ZO6's? Pretty soon, you'll be able to buy 2 and keep one for a spare. AS
Someone that didn't laugh! Thanks, really.
Honestly, I really like the tricked out little MC-40. The JCW gives it fun factor, but I'm still going to squeeze out more.
Have to agree. having owned a bunch of fun cars in the past - I'm pretty much here to stay. I'm sure I could get a 96/97 993 with that money - no matter what "oldguy" says!
You can get a good 1995 993 for $32k without too much effort. A 1995 actually has less problems than the 1996 and later models. A 95 will depreciate less than the later years as well, partially offsetting the higher cost of maintaining a 993 versus a 996.
That said, I am really much happier with my 996 over my 993. I use my 996 more because it is quieter and better riding than my 993.
for sure i would end up buying an rx-7....its the 1 car i've alwayse wanted since i was a wee lad... there may be beter cars out there but i love those things the same way those yankees love their old skool american muscle cars..
then after that (provided i can't find an rx, make an rx or steal an rx)
it would probably be:
lan evo 9 (the one we'll be gettin in canada)
rx-8
a skyline tuned 2 hell and back (R32 GT-R)
g-35 coupe (because for some reason the 350z pisses me off).
^ unless i could find a recent turbo i can afford (like a 964 or whatever...u kno the 1 that came b4 the 993)
I bought a VW R32. But I have a 964 and a 951...
If I was Porscheless... I would have gotten an old Porsche. The most I could get for under 32K with a few $K spare for fixing up any problems. So, a 964 or an early 993.
For that price a G35 coupe is also a good choice...( but only if you already have a Porsche...)
