The Porsche Battery Maintainer will cost me a little over $60 delivered and the Battery Tender Jr. with the lighter adapter will cost $43.24 delivered. The Battery Tender Plus with lighter adaper costs $60.52 delivered. I've researched the threads and all three have had positive feedback. Should I spend the extra $20 or put it in the gas tank? Thanks, Don

FWIW, I've got 2 Porsche battery maintainers (cigarette plug ones), had them for 2 years and never had a problem. Just to further muddy things up a bit, you could also consider the new one from Porsche: http://www.carnewal-europe.com/cpx_p55042.htm

get the porsche one. i have both. i use the BT on my bike. the BT goes directly to your battery, which means you will have to pop your hood to use it. i like the conveniance of using the porsche one as it plugs into the lighter. the BT does work well on my bike. they give you an extension wire that dangles out from the the body work so you don't have to take off the seat and access the battery. you could potentially do the same thing for the car if you extended it and brought it into the cabin, but hardly worth the effort when porsche already offers one.
