Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Ok. I got the official Porsche top shampoo (Reinigungsmittle) and the *special treatment/conditioner* (Pflegemittle).
So I cleaned the top today using the shampoo. But the *special conditioner*, which I assume is some sort of Scotch-Brite like product, says I should not allow contact with *glass, plastic, or paint*. So do I have to mask off the entire car to get the deed done? Dang!
Any experience with this?
Raggtopp does not require masking as the Porsche product does. It
is
a great product and I've been using it for 6 years.
From the Raggtopp website: "Because RAGGTOPP Protectant does not contain Silicone, it will not harm the paint, chrome, glass, or plastic windows of your convertible."
From the directions on the can: "No need to mask off chrome, glass, fiberglass, wood or paint. Simply wipe off over spray with a clean cotton rag."

what I do on my cab is open the top a bit and put a sheet over the windshield and side windows and then lower it down so its near the windshield. I just hold a piece of cardboard against the rear window move it around and spray away.
In addition to the sheet between top and windshield header, you can also put folded newspapers between clamshell and top when slightly open, then close to hold in place. It really only takes a few minutes to get everything masked.
Nicolaas, you do know that you're not supposed to wash the top (with the car wash soap) every time you wash the car........ just rinse with clear water.
You should only wash the top with shampoo prior to applying a protectant such as Raggtopp.
