Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Replace tto longer bolts' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace tto longer bolts' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

How big of a spacer can you run with the stock lugs SAFELY??

Suggestion
I bought sets that came with longer bolts...wouldn't take the risk of using the original bolts with 15mm spacers
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

None... The bolt length is engineered to have a certain amount of thread count/depth to hold the wheel onto the hub. Reducing that by 5mm (assuming 5mm spacer) is not a safe or wise thing to do IMO.
Don't try it without changing tto longer bolts. 5mm spacers need 5mm longer bolts (from stock length).... 17mm spacers need 17mm longer bolts..... etc., etc.
A good rule of thumb is the one you find in the rules for most racing series. Your wheel bolts need to be engaged to a depth equal to their diameter. So stick a wheel bolt through your wheel and spacer and see how much is sticking out. If it's less the diameter of the bolt, you need longer bolts. Extra is fine. You can put pretty long bolts in before they stick out the back and hit the brakes. Ask me how I know.
BTW, people changing to non-OEM wheels should do this test. They are often thicker than stock and require longer bolts.

At the big yellow tractor works, our standard thread engagement is to be 1.5 x the bolt diameter for steel bolts (grade 8) and a tapped steel hole. For aluminum tapped holes it's greater, but I can't remember as I never designed any aluminum bolted joints. But the 1.5x number is still seared into my brain 35 years later.
Cheers,
The rear flange on a C2 hub is 6 full turns deep to put the bolt flush to the inside of the flange. So after you put the bolt through the wheel and spacer on mock up, you should have 6+ threads exposed to meet the minimum engagement.
