This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Are there any aluminum pedals out there that replace (not overlap) the factory pedals?

POST 2Original post

I have been looking for the same thig, but I think they all overlap....so I went for the the overlapping ones...and never looked back! Once they are in....they look great..I even put them in my wifes X5

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

There's got to be something out there. Anybody here have a real racing Porsche (i.e. not club, but Rolex Series or something like that)? I would think those would have real aluminum pedals (though they won't be as pleasing to the eye).

POST 5Original post

Been looking for something in between. Call me crazy, but I wish I had 3 of the aluminum pedals from my Cayenne TT on my 996.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Looks to me like those just screw on top of the existing pedals. Is this not the case?

POST 7Original post

they all screw ontop.....or else you got to have a bodyshop do it... do you really want to take the risk of your brakepedal coming off?? Or your gas pedal getting stuck??

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

No, I don't care for that risk...which is why I want to find real deal metal pedals and replace the existing pedals myself (so I know it was done right)...i.e. not just replace the part where you put your foot, but the whole pedal.
