was sitting in slow-moving traffic, when the car in front of me moves, i released brake, and slowly rolling. but the guy hit me from behind! i said to myself "WTF", got out the car, saw 2 scratches on the black bumperette, that's it. i couldn't figure out why the tennage do that. again, it's a bumper-2-bumper slow-moving traffic! i let him go since i don't find any damage other than the bumperette. anything else should i check for? the speed was very slow. < 5 mph

pl, Hope you slapped the punk kid upside the head, assuming a punk boy, before you let him go. If punk girl, you just gotta make sure she felt the fear. kiddin of course, Easy diy, pop them off and give them a good spay of new paint. I just spruced mine up cause they were getting dull looking. If you have the body colored, will be more of a challenge and if gouged, could mean new ones. Mine are the prefacelift black that are slightly textured. I used semi gloss black auto spraypaint. RB

mine is the OEM black one. i had a pair of extra(some rennlister sent me for free i need to spry them and put them on this weekend. i saw the guy's face in the rear-mirror, he was about to commit suicide, well, almost. i just told him drive carefully.

Hopefully your bumper didn't depress any otherwise you'll get cracks down the road. It doesn't take much to flex the paint too far.

i belive the bumper is "untouched", since the bumperettes were mounted directly on the frame, though 2 holes on the bumper. anyone correct me if i am worng?
