I will run a carfax first but is there something else I am missing or is this a good deal?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just saw this '04 C4S cab that is going for just under 70k. I haven't seen any of these for this low. I called the dealership and he says it is ultra clean no dings scratches, clean title etc... but that they are a wholesaler and just look to move them as quick as they get them. They have moved a bunch of cars on the site and have very positive ratings but this is going to be my first porsche purchase. This is definitely more than I wanted to spend but it seems like a great deal and this is exactly the style that I am looking for (wide body) and cab. I will run a carfax first but is there something else I am missing or is this a good deal? thanks http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2004-...QQcmdZViewItem

POST 2Original post

Make sure you have a PPI performed before pulling the trigger

POST 3Original post

Looks good with some nice options, PSE and Full Leather. 25K on a 2004 is not exactly low mileage. The only thing that struct me as being odd was that the engine compartment was not detailed or even cleaned up. I would expect that to have been done on a 2004 C4S selling for $70K. This and the mileage make me wonder how hard the car was used. It would be interesting to see the in service date from the carfax.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

nope - it looks like no one got it or maybe he sold it and pulled the auction since the reserve wasn't met.

POST 6Original post

That was a good deal too - you gotta pull the trigger when you see a good buy like that.
