Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am sure that the aero kit isn't factory, but the last picture shows the side skirts with a double bead. Is this normal, also the front lights appear to be part amber, and part clear. Again, is that normal?
I think the ambers are pretty normal but I'm more concerned with the back. The rear spoiler doesn't look like it's sitting perfectly closed; it shouldn't tip up at the front like that. Might be a repair job not done well.
The lower part of the headlights in '99 cars were amber in color. It looks like this car has been upgraded with the Litronics Retrofit Kit but the previous owner was too cheap to buy new matching clear corner triangles for the headlights (kept the amber corners.)
You can get those clear triangles to replace the amber ones. Usually people do all or nothing, though. As Phil noted, that rear spoiler isn't sitting right. The black thing for the plate in the middle sticking out of the front bumper is a little different. Looks like it also has the intake screens in the front bumper. Other than that, the bumper and side skirts look to be factory parts, but not factory installed, as you noticed.
of course the nav is not factory, might be a good thing...and the interior wood might be glued on, not sure, the silver and black probably was added also, if you can see the originial sticker, it will resolve most of the above mysteries.
Rear spoiler does not close right, wood on dash is fake (not factory). If that is a C4 why are the brake calipers black and not silver? Engine cover is not aligned properly - I wonder if the car was hit in the rear.
I would definitely copy down the option codes from the inside of teh front trunk lid and see what is missing. As well, a CarFax. All in IMHO...
I would agree with all of the aforementioned comments. The quess that it has been hit from the rear is also a good one and the painted bumperettes could have been completed at that time also. I see that the car is located at Porsche of Arlington from the pictures, they should be able to verify all of these concerns before you get too far into the process. But for the price? From a dealer? Something smells funny.
mduff, I actually called about this car since I am in the market and located in NOVA. The pics were taken in front of Porsche of Arlington, but that is about it. It is a private seller who doesn't divulge the VIN (even after a few email requests to let me carfax it before driving over to look).
I would look elsewhere.
