Yeah, I replaced my mirrors with the Porsche european version that has a little dotted line running vertically at about 3/4 of the way out of the mirror.

hahaha... neon lights. scared you all there for a second, didn't i? in the other news, i did my first DIY today: installed SmartTOP and RemoteTOP today. simply LOVE it. only the begining of many DIYs to come. was thinking of doing autodimming mirrors (both internal and external). anybody got a good place to get it from? speaking of mirrors, anybody replaced their outside mirrors with wide angle european style mirrors? (i think they are called convex) ... and it also gets rid of that annoying "objects in the mirror are closer than they appear" here is what BMW mirrors look like (part #1): http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...65&hg=51&fg=10

Yeah, I replaced my mirrors with the Porsche european version that has a little dotted line running vertically at about 3/4 of the way out of the mirror. After the line, the mirror curves away slightly to allow you to tilt your mirrors a little further in without creating a blind spot. Very cool easy upgrade. Is it worth it? Probably not. Is it cool? Oh yeeaahhhh
