Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello, After doing plenty of research on this site I decided to forgo purchasing a 2002 BMW M5 for this 1999 c4. I will be picking it up from the dealer as soon as the weather clears up here (probably tomorrow afternoon). I was wondering what if anyone knew all of the available options on this MY. Anyways I look forward to a great new (to me) car. Everything chceked out on the carfax report & I checked w the local dealer who serviced it. Enjoy the pic - it appears to have the Gemballa gt turbo wing (is this right)?

POST 3Original post

Looks great - did it come with the black Testarossa as a freebie?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Unfortunately not - but I did get to drive the Red Testarossa . The black one is a 1985 & the red one is a 1989.

Spaceman, Congrates and welcome to the board. The option list for the 996 (or any modern Porsche for that matter) is many pages long. There are pdf versions of the order guide that list all the options floating around. I am sure someone on here has one they could send you. If the car does not have the original window sticker, then one way to tell what options you have is to look for the optioin code sticker. It is usually located under the front hood. Sometimes the dealers also stick a copy of it in the owner's manual. If not you get that information from Porsche.

POST 6Original post

Spaceman, Congrats, make sure you post some pics when she is home...looks like savanna beige interior?

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
