Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am getting ready to have a PSS9 kit installed on my 02 996 Does anybody know of a good shop in the Sacramento / Bay Area to do the install, alignment and corner balancing? Also what alignment specs / shock settings / ride height do you recommend? I intend to use the car 75% street 25% track. I dont daily drive the car so a fairly aggressive setup is ok. Thanks, Tim

POST 2Original post

I usually drop the Carreras to Euro sport spec, which is 138mm (+/- 10) in the front and 148 (+/- 10). Car will look very good at that height. This is measured from the factory points, and not from the fenders. I usually set them to 4-5 and let the customer change them from there depeding on how it feels with their driving style.

POST 3Original post

Try Devek in Redwood city. They are great guys.

POST 4Original post

Tim, start with something pretty neutral like 5 in the front and 4 in the rear or 4 and 3 respecively. If you've got 19s then go a little softer...
