This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Outcome without a verified action link

i think mixing the sticky streets like Yokos and Pirellis is much better balanced and still not recommended.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

For reasons entirely within my control (cheap), I have a different set of fronts vs. rears. Pirelli P-Zero Rosso's up front and a pair of Sumitomo HFXR 2 in the back. Have never heard of the the tires in the back. Got them when I bought a set of track rims. I thought how different can they be? Well, I am calibratied on P-Zeros which are decent enough street tires. Well, these Sumitomos are da bomb, I tell you. I think it is truck tire rubber in a 265-35-18. I have found the perfect drifiting tire combo. Easy to initiate the oversteer. Easy to modulate. No snapback since there isn't much traction. The only downside is you will need change 2 fronts for 1 rear. Seriously, this combo is bad news. I enjoy doing some drifting here and there for fun, but the balance is WAY off w/ this combo! i think mixing the sticky streets like Yokos and Pirellis is much better balanced and still not recommended. Pretty squirrely in a trail braking turn on Hwy 17 (mtn rd) coming home tonight. Anybody heard of these tires? I thought Sumitomo was a Japanese bank. Are they actually the worlds stickiest tire if you can get them lava hot?

My M5 came with them. Came off after 2 weeks. can't get traction anywhere in the rev.
