Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This issue has probably been raised a lot of times before, but a search gave me too many threads to go through. Can anybody give me a list of the choises of tire sizes (Summertires) I have for my 2000, C4 cab. with 18" GT3 wheels on? Right now I have Conti 225/40 Z18 front, and Bridgestone 265/35 Z18 rear. I am going for the Michelin PS2 N-rated, but right now I have some miles left on the rear Bridgestones. Would you recommend to swop all 4 at the same time? Thanks a lot in advance

POST 2Original post

You can run 285/30s on the rear if you want also. They made the switch to that size with the 2002+ model years. As for swapping all four, I'd only do it if you had less than 50% the fronts and rears. Else, just put on the new fronts or rears (make sure to definitely switch the left and right at the same time) and then run the car until you need new tires in the front or rear accordingly.

POST 5Original post

For the track I run Michelin Pilot Sport Cups with 235/40-18 up front, and 285/30-18 on the rear on my 1999 C4. I'm not sure if the street versions would have any rubbing issues, however. When I ordered these sizes from TireRack, they actually called me to be sure I wanted those sizes since they were larger than their charts recommended. Scott
