Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'pss9's' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'pss9's' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Let me get this straight...you want the factory ride? The factroy set-up will give you the ride thet is closest to factory...although it is not very good IMO. That is why you do the coil overs! PSS9s do give you adjustability.
I think he is saying he wants the comfort of the factory stock suspension but wants the car lowered with coilovers, which I can appreciate. I don't know if there is a good answer for you. In general most of the coilovers ride more controlled but harsher than the factory set up. My experience with the PSS-9's on my 993 was that it was definitely more harsh. The softest settings on the PSS-9's was not that great and resulted in sort of bouncy ride. To get rid of the bounce you had to click them up a couple of notches which resulted in stiffer riding car than factory. The PSS-9's are nice but don't think they will have as supple a ride as the factory suspension.
What about the ROW M030? Stiffer than stock but maybe not a harsh as most aftermarket coilovers. The problem is it is not height adjustable and it doesn't lower the car significantly.
Yes, my point is to gain control & lowering for looks, but maintain a somewhat comfortable ride. (not too harsh) I want to have the car lower than the M030.
probably the pss9's. everythign else is going to be more track oriented. i have them in my car. the ride is decent. my car rides at 25.5" in the front and 26" in the back. that's about as low as you can go with the pss9's though, due to the internal bump stops. i'm happy with the ride height as i scrape the front end constantly anyway. i can't imagine going any lower for the street.
1.5 in the front and about 1 in the rear. it's pretty low for street driving. i don't know what your roads are like, but they're pretty smooth in Fl and i still scrape on driveways, etc...
i haven't heard anything good about the H&R coilovers and supposedly their customer service is hurrendous from the posts i've read. the jic stuff is pretty nice, but it will have a more agressive ride than the bilsteins.
PSS9s are going to give you a comfortable firm ride, but smooth. Harsh and bouncy are generally caused by bad, or mismatched dampeners to the spring rates being used.
I like the fact that the H&R's have a loweing range of 1.0" to 2.25". The dampners are adjustable too.. grr decisions decisions. How much does it cost to get coilover installed in a 996 C2?
