Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I've installed the following mods myself (nevering having worked on any car before) with the generous and excellent advice of the folks here and on RennTech: RoW M030, PSE with switch (best mod ever), B&M SSK, dual Homelink in batwing, IPod Aux Input with latching relay, spoiler switch (since removed to make room for PSE switch), clear sidemarkers, SmartTop.

Suggestion

If I had to choose one mod, I'd say paint those calipers red, it'd really set off that car nicely.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Deons' "lurker" post got me thinking that an introductory pic amnesty program is needed for those of us who have been around a while (over a year in my case) but haven't made the effort to post intro pics and make a proper introduction. Perhaps you didn't have a digital camera, or were waiting to lower the car to get it looking just right, or wanted to put on new wheels first. Whatever the reason, time went by and at some point it just felt awkward to make a formal introduction. I think it is time to seek forgiveness and take part in the Introductory Pic Amnesty Program. I'll start. This is my first Porsche, a 2000 C4 Cab. Acquired September 2004 from a lease return specialist with NO warranty (spent the money I saved on mods and have not regretted it). Polar Silver/Metropolitan Blue. Full Leather. Nav. Etc. This car has given me a TON of enjoyment, as has this forum. Now, finally, a few pics.

POST 2Original post

Beautiful car! If I had to choose one mod, I'd say paint those calipers red, it'd really set off that car nicely.

POST 3Original post

C4, very original. You cracked me up. Great car to

POST 4Original post

Nope, no amnesty.......we don't want noobs to think they can buy our cars and just start posting away....beautiful cars need to be seen AND heard

POST 6Original post

Does that tie in with Bush's guest worker amnesty program? I'm from SoCal, I don't think it will fly...

POST 7Original post

Thats is Identical to my first Porsche...Just seeing it brings back tears of joy..Nice car and welcome to the list!!!

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, for the welcome. I can't believe I'm the only one who needs to participate in the Introductory Pic Amnesty Program. If so, I feel really lame for taking so long. If not, you know who you are. Get those amnesty pics posted!

POST 9Original post

Nice pics. Good job of introducing yourself AND posting pics.... all in one posting. At least you eliminated the possibility of having Dell, the ultimate pic *****, call you out for not posting pics. [Flame suit on for Dell]

POST 10Original post

C4 I have to ask...how much of a drop did the ROW M030 give you?

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hardly any, since the springs had about 40,000 miles on them and had compressed some. If I recall correctly, it was about 1/2 inch in the rear and 1/4 inch in front. Huge difference in handling, though.
