Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Were you guy's running the same tires, as that could make a big difference too, no?

No damage though...but a friendly Land Rover driver was required to assist in getting him over the crest and onto the better roads (using a tow rope!!)

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I thought some of you might like to see a few photos of a little drive 3 of us took on Saturday...
We took my 996 C4S, a 993 C4 and a 993 C2S and headed up into the snowy Highlands...the roads were mostly pretty good...although as the last picture shows...not always so!
The 3 cars:
These were taken up at the Lecht Ski Centre...which caused the skiers to wonder why there were 3 lunatics in 911s out in that weather...
Probably my favourite stretch of road anywhere...
...and just to show that the roads weren't always clear of snow...
Please excuse the quality of some of the pics...it was a mix of digital cameras and camera phones.
Is that a ski lift in pic 4? Looks like it is. Great cars! I love Scotland. Haven't been back in a while, and really need to get back. Great people, and fantastic place.
Not as well as the C4 and C4S...
The C2S really struggles for grip...the C4 struggled with understeer and then oversteer...whilst my C4S just got on with things (even on X73 suspension) and I left the PSM to sort things out...no understeer, very little oversteer...
Brilliant!
Thanks for all the great comments about the cars...
I forgot to mention, the C2S is in front in the last pic...the photo taken from the C4. The C2S had a couple of spins on that road...eventually ending up off road partially in the gulley.

Nice, pictures.....hey Ess-Three, a few months back did'nt you post some very clear pictures in the same stretch of the road in summer. I was looking for it in the archives when someone here was looking for some C4S pictures, could'nt find it. Just want to make sure I was'nt hallucinating?
Were you guy's running the same tires, as that could make a big difference too, no?
That would have been me...you weren't seeing things..
It's a great bit of road.
I guess so...

The C4 has just had a full set of Pirelli P-Zeros fitted...
Not sure what's on the C2S.
