I was in the Lambo..Were going to go on A porsche drive to Grove but the Arkansas guys ran into snow.

I just realized that I am propbably a lurker. I have never posted a pic of any of my cars. 88 Carrera, 89 964 or the 2003 996 Targa. Sorry guys but here is one of the Targa. ( I can't add my Lambo to the signatue for some unknown reason. Actually I can't update my signature. Any Ideas?)

I actually was one of the very early paying members.
On the Gallardo...I like it a lot so I will not let it go to easy. Lifetime membership an option?.

red911c2, Was it you on 75 turning towards Tulsa speedway this morning and then around 3:30 this afternoon on 75 close to Whirlpool?. Car looks great.. (I mistook it for a turbo).
I was in the Lambo..Were going to go on A porsche drive to Grove but the Arkansas guys ran into snow. We called it off.
Give me shout when you are close to town and we chat about battery upkeep for the fleet.

Nope, it wasn't me. The 964 (in my avatar) was sold before we moved to Tulsa. I've got an Arena Red 996 now. Not as flashy but it's a Tip and my wife can drive it too. Was the Grove outing a PCA drive? We live in Midtown Tulsa, let me know when your next "drive" is and maybe we can tag along!
It was an on the spur of the moment PCA event. Christy e-mailed a bunch of us on Wednesday to poll for the drive. My wife had the Cayenne in Stillwater visiting my daughter and my 996 was awaiting a replacement hose so out came the Gallardo.
I can PM you my number and name and you can do the same and I will call you for the next outing...but I am such a car nut if you just want to swing by for a beer, coffee or whatever just let me know. I have to admit the more I can annoy some neighbors with nice cars in the driveway the more pleasure I get out of it (I don't mean that nasty) even if it someone visiting.

Just a question from a guy with merely Porsches: On any given day, how do you choose the Porsche or the Lambo? Do you say "I'm feeling particularly outgoing today, I'm hopping in the bright yellow exotic", or do say "I still want a sporting ride, but want to blend in a bit, so I'll take the Porsche"?

Good question. But sometimes you get enough of the Lambo and somtines enough of the Porsche's then I do take Mercedes out. You just have to be there to make the call.
The Mercedes is the beater? Hahahah...
Philosophically, I could see a Lambo and say, an M5 for a real different vibe, but I cant imagine getting tired of the Lambo and hopping in a 996 - not much rest there. My C4S pummels me within an inch of my life, I can't imagine the Lambo much worse...
