Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm trying to get an idea of what my car weighs with oil, some gas and everything else. Please tell me what your car weighed. Also how much gas and what weight reduction you have done.

POST 2Original post

The best thing to do is to go to one of those truck stop gas stations that has the scales. I did that for my other car for purpose of getting reimbursed for a move. Cost something like $10.

POST 3Original post

I've gone to the local trash transfer station (the dump), through the pickup truck side where you have to pay. They weigh you in and out. And no charge for disposing of the one small bag of trash that fits in the trunk of a 911.

POST 4Original post

3,176 at the Solo Nationals in September of 2004. The car was more or less empty and a full tank of gas. Plus, helmet and Hoosier Racing Tires instead of P-Zero Rossos. Car is a '02 coupe (and for sale!) http://tinyurl.com/cy3ov or https://rennlist.com/forums/996-forum/252873-2002-996-carerra-coupe-for-sale.html

POST 5Original post

What accounts for the 200+ lbs of extra weight of the 02+ compared to the earlier 99-01 narrow body C2s?

POST 6Original post

yup we have a $3 standard charge and even a truck full of garbage was not the minimum weight difference

POST 7Original post

I couldn't tell you. Are you using Porsche specs or an actual weight? FWIW, my local transfer station (dump) has the weight go in ten pound increments. They aren't set up for me weighing my car.

POST 8Original post

my 02 cab was about 3450. more or less full tank of gas, 19" wheels, and the supercharger. what a porker!
