Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I recommend that you provide the link to the ad in your post. You'll save people time and increase the chances that people here will look at it and give you some help. Otherwise we'll unleash LVDell on you.
POST 3Original post
Sounds like a Great deal to me. Make a PPI part of the deal.
POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

POST 7Original post
Your link did not work. it is autoBI not autoib. Is this the car? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-...QQcmdZViewItem It is a nice looking car, and from the pics, it looks very clean. You should get a PPI completed before you proceed.
POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
Thanks yes that is the car .I do not know what A ppi is,and what about buying from A non porsche dealer.I live in san francisco so. www.autobi.com is about 25miles away.
POST 9Original post
PPI = pre-purchase inspection = get somebody who knows their stuff to thoroughly examine the car before you buy it. Either a Porsche dealer or a WELL-RECOMENDED indy (ie not just joe's mechanic) to go over it.
POST 10Original post
Seriously BlackCab.......is that really needed?
POST 11Original post
Come onnnnn...I thought you didn't get offended...but I'll stop. I love your posts and I've laughed at more than a few of them. I'll move onto a new topic. I am in escrow on a new house that I can barely afford. Once we get over the hump, I'll be able to throw money at some modifications. When it happens later this year, I'll post pictures. If you don't like them, you are welcome to make fun of me.

We really need to grab a beer
POST 13Original post
As long as it's not a FORD dealer...
POST 14Original post
Agreed - I still owe you the Martini I offered in a previous post. My wife is scheduled to deliver baby number 2 in less than three weeks, so it will be a little while before I can make a trip to Vegas. But when I get the next chance, I'll drive my black cab from LA and when you least expect it, I'll make good on my word.
POST 15Original post
It's a deal! We can the CAB's for a trip through the Red Rock canyons. Now that is a great drive
