Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Tim,
Those pedals look nice. Just be careful when you're wearing leather-bottomed dress shoes. That brake pedal can become slippery without the rubber dots.
Thanks for the "heads up." I, too, thought about that before I bought them. I figured, if they were too slppery, I could order either the rounded or flat topped rubber dots and install them myself.
These things were alot harder to install than I thought they would be. What helped me was some good advice I received once......
"Beavis, you need the right tool for the job"
In this case, the right tools are a couple sizes of Ti split point bits, a pastel colored paint stick (to see easily against the black pedal) for marking holes, and a C clamp for holding the pedal on while marking the hole.
I too am concerned with thelack of raised areas (rubber or metal) that increase the friction factor.
I put similar "non-rubber dot" pedals on a few weeks ago. No problem with leather soled shoes. Mine have a slight texture on them similar to diamond plate. My wife bought them for me out of the Automotion catalog.
And yes, drilling the holes in the existing pedals is a challenge.
Good luck.
Home Depot sells sheets of black abrasive for use on ladder steps. The rubber inserts tend to pull out with use. The HP stuff is much better than slipping off the brake at the wrong time.
I ordered them from Maxspeed-motorsports. They were running them on ebay with a "buy it now" price of $139.99. See link below:

I called them to order the pedals and got them for them $141.94

. I installed them today, but haven't had a chance to take pics yet. I have to "test 'em out" first and will take pics when I return and post the pics later today.
OK, as promised, here are the pics of the Aluminum Pedals installed in the car. BTW, it took only about a minute and a half to drill through the brake pedal, which is metal. I have a good set of Porter Cable drill bits.
i just bought the same ones with rubber dots..they look very nice...hard to install on a tip...because the break pedal screw holes are very close to the edge!
I am guessing you are referring to the gas pedal. I think it may be off about "half a bubble" on a level. This would be a hard part to silk screen accurately because when the perdal is mounted, the right edge of the pedal is not perpendicular to the floorboard. The pedal actually leans to the right, just like the stock pedal (think leaning Tower of Pisa). However, that does not bother me, I still like 'em.
