Ladies and gentlemen it is with great regret after several repairs on the plastic window on my 2000 C4 which would last a year or so I�ve decided to give up and get a new top. my current top is metropol blue and I�d like to maintain that color. I�d change to black if I had to Couple of questions 1. Should I stick with the plastic window or go glass. I�ve never needed to defrost the window and I do 90% of my driving with the top down 2. What brand of top do people recommend. My main criteria would be quiet ride with the top up (I generally only have the top up if the wife�s in the car or it�s raining) and looks 3. Get the German A5 Canvas and have an auto upholstery shop do it. I went with a plastic window but that's a subjective choice.

Gracias. Looks like there are several brands that do the German A5. I replaced a s2000 top with a Robbins. Anybody have experience with Gaah? Also anybody gone from plastic to glass. Did you miss the visibility. How was road noise?

Just replaced our Boxster S's top with GAHH A5 Acoustic Canvas and original type plastic window. Quality product and included strips, etc. that some of the low end kits will not.
