Hi Guys I only use my car maybe 1 time each week. When I start it I hear what sounds like the lifters tapping for about 5 seconds than that noise goes away. Should I be looking for my check book? The tapping is only on that first start after at least a few days with out being started then it could be restarted without any noise. I just had Porsche check the car out and change the oil , the car seems fine. Thanks for any input Gary

When a car sits for that long it is common and not a concern for the lifters to be hear for a few seconds when started.
