The only carbon in my car is the shifter, it feels awsome and looks good, and carbon in our bla int, would be a welcome change, I say go for it!

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey all -- I have a Orient Red Metallic '02 996 with a gray interior. My shifter has a couple of nicks in it and my e-brake handle leather has a couple of blemishes. It bugs me and I was thinking about replacing with CF versions. Any opinions on doing ONLY those parts in CF, versus doing the full kit (center console and door sills)? Anyone have pics of this in a light gray interior? With or without the full kit? Much appreciated... Z

POST 2Original post

Robyn on her yeallow car just had those two parts and it looked fine.

POST 4Original post

My 2003 C2 Cab had just the carbon fiber e-brake handle and shifter as ordered from the factory. I think it's a popular option. It looked great that way. The only problem with adding any carbon fiber in your car is that you'll likely want more of it and it's an expensive habit. My interior now:

Hey Henry -- Thanks for the advice and pics (looks great)! Does ANYONE have picks with the light gray interior? Even of a full kit? Mark

POST 6Original post

My interior is light grey - it was a factory option for the CF.

POST 7Original post

what henryM said... let the addiction start! You can get these parts cheaper at suncoast.
