Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

If your radio don't have an Ipod receptacle - the lighter receptacle can current the unit and you can use the IER6s for high quality music.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Does anyone use a GPS system other than an in dash version? I'm in the market for a Navigation device and have been eyeing the Lorance Way 500c. Does anyone have experience with this or other models?
yes. I use the Garmin Quest. It works great. I keep it in my briefcase, and I've used it in many places in the US and also in Europe (I have the european database). I also use it on my bicycle for long trips. When my wife travels on biz I lend it to her too. I made an extra bracket for my car out of a cell phone holder and the Garmin bicycle bracket so that when we go out I can stick it in my pocket (it's about 2.5 by 4 by 1 inches) and if I need it I just take the bracket out of the door pocket. It will run 20 hours on batteries and it will talk if you use the lighter plug.
I've got a Garmin c330 - nice size, display, responsive user interface. I only need it for trips, not daily so the smaller size and portability were more useful to me. That Lowrance model looks interesting but bigger though.
I like the Lowrance because the screen is nice and big. I don't like that it's not portable as leedav's. In short if the Lowrance was battery powered I'd buy it right away. How often, I'd need it to be battery powered is slim to none but I like that option in case of an emergecy.
I also have the Garmin Quest. We bought it to take with us to use in rental cars on trips. It is small enough to put easily in a carry on, but the screen with graphics is easily visible. The battery option is great for sitting in the hotel room and programming any location you are interested in and it has the USB connection for anything else you might want.
I have the Iway500. I had a new Garmin 276 (battery powered) sold it in two weeks & took my bath.
The screen size of the Iway is far and away better than garmin products. In the car its size is perfect. It has a separate allocation for your Itunes. If your radio don't have an Ipod receptacle - the lighter receptacle can current the unit and you can use the IER6s for high quality music. The also supply a hardwire for wiring directly to your radio speakers. Itunes with voice interuption for directions.
Not bad for a unit less expensive than Garmin products. I use it in the car, on the bike and on the boat (but not on a trail - no batteries)
BTW the software upgrade allows multiple stop trip planning, but not from your computer.
I have a Dell Pocket PC with the Socket bluetooth GPS module. It works great and is easy to carry around. It is nice because I can also use it to listen to MP3's.
