Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

the attached pic is of a same age, same color 996 to mine
I have the same wheels
needless to say I have clear front, side and rear indicators.....
Just interested in what peoples thoughts are regarding putting rockers (sideskirts) and the rest of the bodykit on were
I like thhe rockers and the bumper cover. In fact, I am going to add the side skirts to mine in the next 3 - 4 weeks . I have never liked the fixed wing. I prefer smooth Butts! I wouldn't add the light surrounds either.
my personal opinion:
1. in any case take off the surroundings of the headlights.
(not OEM...so no good)
thats the first step!!! (GT-3 look with non GT-3 wheels looks odd!!)
step 2!!!
either.... change 5 spoke turbo -twist style wheels with GT-3 like
(i.e Gt-3 look!!)
or.....take off rear wing.
color is just nice.not my favourite though.
my car is a 996 C2 + GT-3 front bumper + GT-3 sideskirts + 5-spoke carrea 02 wheels.....(and to my personal opinion looks very nice.
I like it, headlights bezels and all. I prefer the look of the that early aerokit. Just lose all the yellow.
BTW the 997 aerokit has gone back to more of a "taco" look for the rear spoiler.
to clarify - the pics are not of my car
mine is the same color/year
maybe I will get the front bumper/rockers/rear bumper additions and get the car lowered
I too am usually not a fan of the Taco wing, but, there are a few cars that can pull it off very nicely. If the car has the right stance, (lowered) and the right wheels, coming out to the edge, they look very nice, especially like "porsche-t's", the rear small winglets on the bumper (part of the aero kit) make the wing fit right in, looks great in white. White bumperette covers would really update and clean it up.
I say if you like , do it!! Who cares what we think, I am sure lots of people think my car is ugly, but I like it .Your asking so here goes...Lose the wannable 993 headlight bezels, If you do a GT3 kit , DO NOT use the Turbo Twist wheels, get rid of all the orange in the car(lights) and the Taco wing is one of the nastiest i have seen.....I hope this didn't insult you, but if it did, you asked. One positive thing I do like the colour...
I have the headlight surrounds and don't think they look that bad.. atleast with the twin turbo front bumper.. what do you guys think?
btw, this is a 99..
