Less than 4k miles on all 4 of these Contisports.Unfortunately these tires are discontinued and have beeen replaced with Contisports II.

I wouldn't think there would be to much difference using the same make although different models on the backs only.

I picked up a nail on my new rear tire last week. It went in on a very strange angle and therefore the tire is not repairable. Less than 4k miles on all 4 of these Contisports.Unfortunately these tires are discontinued and have beeen replaced with Contisports II. What should i do: 1)Try to find my original tires on line and buy two new rears 2)Buy Contisport II for the rears and run contisports on my front 3)replace all 4 tires with a set of Bridgestones or Yokos

1 or 2, preferably 1. Consider use tire too. Some used tires have decent tread left. If you go w option #2, save the old Conti you took off. Someone will get good use out of that. Look on eBay and yellow pages for used tires.

Smoked the right rear on my C2 last week. Valve stem cracked and let all the air out imediately. Lucky that I was going rather slow at the time since I was running a canyon road rather hard just prior. Replaced both rears with matching P-Zero's since the rears were pretty well done anyway. I would just replace your rears with Continentals. I wouldn't think there would be to much difference using the same make although different models on the backs only. I know some people will run mismatch brands front and back without any problems. As a side note, make sure you retorqued your wheels after having tire work done. I didn't follow my own advise and could not get two lugs off the rear when I had my little misfortune. Those tire stores seem to either over-torque or under torque everything. Good Luck Tom L.

Replace all 4 with like kind. Porsche is very clear about not mixing and matching tires. I know many suggest running two deltas and many say they have had no problems. To me piece of mind is worth a lot. I've ruined one tire and tried to replace it with the exact kind, but it was no longer available so I bought 4 new ones of a different manufacture and sold the remaining three which offset the cost somewhat.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
