I call the dealer this morning and they agree to replace the dash, they also suggested that they will call a vinyl repair guy...My question is this , If i replace the dash will it rattle and make more noise then it already does.?I already know the vinyl repair guy wont be able to do much but i will let him look at it, What would you guys do??

Hi guys Its me Paul again , this time i want all of your advise on something. Last week the car was at the dealer getting some work done. Well i pick it up friday, all is good! sat afternoon i am cleaning the int of the car, and in my discuss i found a long dent/scratch on my dash(right on top and in the middle), it hasn't cut right thru, but you can see it from any angle in the car. I call the dealer this morning and they agree to replace the dash, they also suggested that they will call a vinyl repair guy...My question is this , If i replace the dash will it rattle and make more noise then it already does.?I already know the vinyl repair guy wont be able to do much but i will let him look at it, What would you guys do?? I would replace the dash. I would rather have little rattle than a scratch that runs along the dash. Also, if it rattles I'm sure you could bring it bad to the dealer and complain about that also. I know a lot of people who bring their cars in for rattles.

Have them replace it. If it rattles too much, just strip it down and sell it for parts, or give it to me! If those are your only two options, I would be willing to bet you don't hear one rattle!
