Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I own a 2001 BMW 330i and have replaced all of the center console pieces thanks to ECS.

I used 2 of the 10 tools for all the different locations.

LED illumination is a far brighter and friendlier light, crisp and clean, especially when compared to the dingy yellow glow from conventional filament style bulbs.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

You won't believe the difference an LED lighting package makes in your car until you see it with your own eyes. LED illumination is a far brighter and friendlier light, crisp and clean, especially when compared to the dingy yellow glow from conventional filament style bulbs.
Now you can do a complete LED conversion using our Porsche 996 LED Interior Lighting Kit. It contains all the LEDs needed for a total lighting upgrade. No need for guesswork or complicated ordering of individual bulbs.

Installed this, including the exterior (Frunk, Engine lid, and lic. plate) looks great, is holding up well. Adds a modern touch to the car. Yes there are cheaper alternatives, but this takes the guess work out and just comes in a nice complete kit.
I pretty much use ECS tuning for all my car part ordering needs, except on the rare occasion I cannot find a part. They also normally have all OEM parts at good prices. Let's see some rennlist specials for 996 parts!!!
Thank you for the kind words ccaarmerciill
If you ever need help finding a part number or have a questions about something just PM and I will do my best too find an answer for you.
I want to chime in and give ECS some kudos. I purchased this light kit and it is excellent.
I own a 2001 BMW 330i and have replaced all of the center console pieces thanks to ECS. Their site is excellent and the service has been exemplery. Looking foward to future purchases.
The only thing I would advise is getting a Trim Tool Kit like the one shown below instead of using an item such as a screw driver to pry with. For more information

Awesome news. Thanks again for the support
Was about to place an order when I noticed that shipping to Europe is about 55 USD
too bad cause I really like the looks of the kit...
Guess I have to source the lights from a more nearby dealer....
We try to offer as many shipping options as we possibly can, but shipping over the pond is always a bit on the expensive side. You could always order a few items to try to offset the cost a bit more
Gotta give my quick ECS plug. Just installed. Look great!
Installation instructions on the ECS site helped a lot. The dome was the only challenge at all, trying to figure where the "hinge" was. It's towards the front of the car, and once that was figured, it was 3 minutes.
As someone else asked about the tools needed, I bought the kit with 10 tools or so, and it was overkill. I used 2 of the 10 tools for all the different locations.
Next up, tail light upgrade.
Just ordered mine. Had to double check to see if I had footwell lighting option, which I didn't. So ends being only $56 total for my car. Gotta love the cheap and easy mods. Looking forward to getting the kit. Will be my 4th order from ECS and they've been great on the first 3 orders.
Thank you for the support and kind words
If you ever have a question or concerns feel free to PM me and I will gladly get you an answer. Enjoy and stay warm over the next few days.
If we knew all of the bulb sizes, we could make an educated guess as to which LED's would work, but wouldn't be able to guarantee it without really testing it.
Installed my LEDs
Really is a night and day difference
Took about 10 minutes to do all of them (don't have footwell lighting)
Only thing I would say was the glove box one was a bit long, but i made it fit
Happy with my upgrade
Thanks ECS
Update and question if anyone knows. All of my LED's are working beautifully except the frunk light. All of a sudden it doesn't. I put the old build in and it doesn't work either. I can't find a fuse listing in the incredibly detailed fuse book thingy. Is there one for the frunk light?
That light goes to the alarm system control unit so you would have other problems if that fuse is bad. Check the micro switch for that light.
