So I did what was bothering me most of all, I cleaned the paint.

She is modded to the point that I wouldn't get anything for her if I sold her so she will stay and be used for VW/Audi shows.

I have owned my 996 for approximately 2 months now and with my work travel schedule and family (4 kids, ages 17, 15, 7 and 2)... My wife finally encouraged me to spend the day in the garage and tinker with my pcar.
So I did what was bothering me most of all, I cleaned the paint.
Steps:
Wash
Clay bar
Meg 105 orange pad
Meg 205 white pad
And finally Meg NXT paste wax
It took all day but I am so pleased with it!

Sad thing is I leave early am for a work trip so I wont get to enjoy until Saturday
Thanks I am very pleased with the results!!! And yes that was my scirocco that my oldest son and I built. Now it's his (he is 17 years old).. The merc 190e is my second sons that we are currently building (he is 15). The pathfinder is my airport car/daily beater. Wife drives a 2003 vw eurovan.. And I have this 911 and a 2001 Audi TT as my toys..
Even though you spent the day working on your Porsche(it looks great), with a large family, it must have seemed like a vacation doing something to your car. How many miles on the Audi TT? I also owned 01' TT for 4 years.
It was quite relaxing....
