I'm in the middle of installing the spoiler switch mod into my console and got to the part where you're supposed to use the kick panel switch to test the install-- LED should light as the spoiler raises--but now the spoiler won't deploy.

I'm in the middle of installing the spoiler switch mod into my console and got to the part where you're supposed to use the kick panel switch to test the install-- LED should light as the spoiler raises--but now the spoiler won't deploy. It did before I started this install, and I verified the fuse for the spoiler hasn't been shorted out. I haven't reinstalled the wire harnesses to the instrument binnacle yet--do I need to do this to complete the circuit for the kick panel switch?
