Were the lightweight 5 spoke MY02 wheels ever made in a 17 inch? I keep seeing them listed on various OEM wheel supplier sites. Here's one for example showing a rear 17X9 inch part #67268 http://www.allfactorywheels.com/prod...ear-67268.html Never seen or heard of these in 17 but keep coming across them. Thinking about a set for my 951.

I had never heard of or seen them in 17 either until I started searching Porsche 17 inch wheels. Basically every OEM wheel supplier lists them in 17 inch as 67267 for the front 17X7 and 67268 17X9 for the rear. Here's another rear on ebay. Picture clearly shows a my02 wheel but says it's 17X9. http://www.ebay.com/itm/PORSCHE-911-...ht_3496wt_1091 I'm almost positive they don't exist but why would so many places list them? I'm guessing there must be a mistake in the Hollander wheel book that the part numbers come from. Couple places have the rear listed for $160. Tempted to order one and see what shows up. Here's a place that lists it or $156 and says they have 3 in their warehouse here in town. Hmmm. http://www.iautobodyparts.com/aly672...r-details.html

According to the Porsche TSB on approved summer wheels and tires for the 996 dated 6/11, the following 17" wheels are approved for the 996 Carrera: -17" Carrera wheel (similar to "twist" wheels) -17" Cup Design wheel -17" Targa wheel -17" Sport Classic wheel -17" 993 Cup Design wheel -17" Carrera 4 wheel -17" Carrera II wheel (ten spoke) There is no mention of a 17" Carrera wheel (lightweight five spoke). This wheel was available in 2002 as an 18" wheel.
