Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
Check your battery cables and the power lines at the alternator.
Leading evidence: 'Check battery cables and the power lines at the alternator' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check battery cables and the power lines at the alternator' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

70 and sunny here in Seattle. Top down and merged on to 520 westbound right in front of a F360. Being mid day with traffic light, we were having some fun picking off traffic together going across the floating bridge when my dash lit up like a xmas tree! PSM warning,ABS warning, brake fluid warning, and battery warning. If you know the bridge I'm talking about, there is no place to pull over and if you did, your fellow commuters would throw you off said bridge for causing a traffic back up! I was thinking that I might of snapped a serpentine belt, but a quick assesment of no unusual noises,no temp increases etc... and then noticing that my voltage had dropped below 12 and remained there...looks like a new alternator or voltage regulator is in my near future! Oh well, it could have been worse. It still was a great day to have the top down enjoying the music of composer Fister D!
Do you happen to own a code reader, that might help you make a diagnosis rather than guessing? At least you had a decent drive just before the light show.
When my '01 C4 did that on the way back from Daytona in 2005 a Costco battery was the fix...still is.
Damn, and there I was astride my JD, first dry spell mean mowing the lawn....
I don't have a code reader, and I've checked all cables and lines(no corrosion, no frayed wires etc...), I don't think it could be a dying battery, because all interior/exterior lights are bright as per normal and the starter motor is normal/not slow to crank etc... I fired it up this morning and the voltage hung around 11.5 during warm up, then settled at around 11.8 or so. It really sounds like the alternator is on its way out and if so, how long will the battery compensate before it would leave me stranded? Not sure I'll get a chance to replace it for 2-3 days and it is my daily driver...although my wife is out of town for the next 1 1/2 days, so I have her car. Thoughts appreciated!
