Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I see others doin it, I might as well also. I have a GT3 itch. In order to scratch that itch, I need to sell my 02, 996, C2, 6speed, 32,000 miles, engine has 22,000 - factory replacement. 18" Porsche Super light, Sumi's 40% remaining, Fresh Oil, every 3000, since I've had it for 3 years, new coolant res. 2- year old battery, Silver & Met blue, w, new floor mats, Paint has a few chips but looks good from 5 ft, interior near perfect. The car runs & drives great. Clean car fax & some of the service records / receipts. What is a fair asking price, I would sell this car to my mother:

That is very low mileage. Never give away money. Start a bit high and see what happens. Everybody wants to feel like they won in car purchase negotiation, so give the buyer some room to feel like they won. I'd list it for $27,500 and detail the condition and options with lots of good pictures. I also think you can spin the replacement engine as a positive.

I think mid 20s as well. I am sure you do have a bare minimum you will not sell car for right?

my rear end itches constantly too, but look at your car - 22K on the motor, if it was done recently enough it already has most of factory fixes, if it can accept LN Eng. IMS fix it eliminates #1 fear factor for M96 engine. Put on GT3 LCAs, redo rest of suspension up to GT3 specs and your car will run not worse than any GT3 car does, in the corners. Like mine does. True it still has less ponies than GT3 but, well, you decide. My motor has 56K miles now and i keep driving it until it runs. 997 gt3 car costs in $75K+, good 996 gt3 costs $55K+.
